Jami Morse Heidegger led Kiehl’s, her family business of three generations, to worldwide prominence before selling it to L’Oreal in 2000. She is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the quality and efficacy of the ingredients in her skincare products.

Initially formulated for her personal use, Jami and her chemist sourced ingredients of the highest grade from around the world to be included in all of her products. Jami insisted that her products have the highest possible concentration of potent, effective ingredients. With a little nudge from her husband and business partner, Klaus Heidegger, Retrouvé was born.

Using only high-quality ingredients in their purest form at unparalleled levels, alongside advanced skincare technologies to drive ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin, Retrouvé’s innovative products are powerfully anti-aging and hydrating.

In the labs, Retrouvé’s celebrated formulations are mixed under vacuum and immediately poured into airless containers to ensure that air does not come in contact with the formulation. The containers are black to prevent light from altering the formula, and they are also equipped with airless pumps, so that air does not get introduced to the product.
